Thuja occidentalis ‘Jantar’ PBR

The ‘Jantar’ is the yellow version of the ‘Emerald’, but it is not an offshoot from the ‘Emerald’. This seedling comes from Poland and has proven that during his growth period it will only need very little nutrition, or even none at all, in order to retain that beautiful yellow color, the intense yellow summer color really stands out if planted in full sunshine. ‘Jantar’ changes into orange yellow during the autumn and winter. Because of its powerful growth it is the ideal plant for hedges but also as a solitary plant in the garden. ‘Jantar’ is highly winter resistant and does well in all European countries.
