‘Summer Sunset’ is a compact growing Nandina with very dark young shoots. Its shoots come out in dark red from the very first growth and have fine leaves. A very beautiful contrast with the very dark green leaves which are nestled at the bottom of the plant. The flower of the ‘Summer Sunset’ starts coming out with soft pink buds, the moment they open up they are clear white. ‘Summer Sunset’ is suitable for any garden, very suitable as patio plant or on the balcony in a beautiful pot. Winter resistant and if planted in the ground it will be able to take temperatures as low as -15° Celsius.
