Myrtus communis ‘Mingo’ PBR EU34866
Myrtus ‘Mingo’ is an evergreen compact growing shrub which flowers heavenly from late spring till early autumn with little white flowers with a yellow heart. The flowers will start from the bottom of the branch and will flower to the top. When the first flowers are opening the top of the branch has nice lemon coloured buds which will flower during the summer.
The leaves of ‘Mingo’ are dark green and are aromatic, it gives your garden the Mediterranean smell.
‘Mingo’ is a drought tolerant and needs less water during the growth. When flowering, she requires a bit more water to keep the flowers optimal.
‘Mingo’ grows up to 50 cm within a couple of years. Winter hardy up to minus 10 degrees Celsius makes her the perfect patio plant. In southern part of Europe she can be used as dwarf hedges which flowering abundant during late spring till early autumn.
