‘Orange Sunrise’ is a deciduous shrub with an upright habit that can reach between 60 and 100 cm in height. Spring brings beautiful, intensely pink leaves that as the season progresses change colour to deep red with a gold marginal ring. ‘Orange Sunrise’ can be used as a solitary garden plant or as a patio plant but is also highly suited as a hedge plant for low growing hedges. It is best to prune ‘Orange Sunrise’ annually so as to maintain the most beautiful and best growth and colour. In spring cut all the branches off up to 10 cm above the ground and the following year you will have the perfect plant colour combination. ‘Orange Sunrise’ is very hardy and can tolerate up to -35° Celsius.

Berberis thunbergii ‘Orange Sunrise’ is protected by CPVO with number: EU45177. Propagation without any written permission is prohibited.
